So we didn't get anything of the sort from the embassy/medical...we were filling out AOS papers yesterday & realized the 693a supplement form requirement. We couldn't find a civil surgeon to fill out the form, unless we did the MEDICAL again. so we set up for an appointment for that...she said the exam is just $75 (a steal compared to the $225+ ones). It's on friday, we got the price list today & it's scaring the ####### out of me. its saying how the AIDS test, TB test, etc is REQUIRED TO BE DONE....which is ALL extra $$$. I am afraid they wont take our word for it, when we say he did all of this already...but no papers to prove. he only has his vaccination records.

Has anyone else been through this with the london embassy? not have a medical report from the knightsbridge doctors?

SO ANNOYED RIGHT NOW!

P.S. Besides the headache of this part of the process....we got married on october & are loving it.:dance::dance:

If your medical was June 1 or later, then the 693A talk doesn't apply. There is a new form I-693 that has a vaccination section that a civil surgeon in the US has to fill out from your immunization records. Knightsbridge gives everybody a copy of the DS-3025 to take with them. That's the immunization record you should show the civil surgeon at your appt. Or maybe you have a shot record from NHS that you showed Knightsbridge. It depends on what you showed at Knightsbridge from your past records and if you got any more shots from them that they added and put on the DS3025.

Go to the AOS forums and start looking through posts about vaccinations, medical, etc. It's the big confusion now because of the change in forms. VJ guides are wrong for summer people onward. Oh and they've added a required TB skin test for medicals after June 1, so get one at the Civil Surgeon appt because he may not know about that. Make sure they use the proper I-693 form too. They have new dates, or take one in with you just to be sure.

And if you read posts, you'll find alot of medicals get lost and have to be done over. It's a big mess of a current issue.
