They are accountable for what they say and do, no matter how they decide they want their speeches written.

I don't think these groups needed something Palin said in order to inspire them. As I said before, the election was growing closer at the time these threats raised and she made her comments. It is entirely possible the groups just realized Obama had a good chance of winning and so their plotting against him increased.

I have always heard a different story with respect to protective issues, to include anecdotal info from my SS neighbor in Rome. You would be very surprised at the volume of death threats that are foisted out there.

Do you honestly think he is getting any more death threats then other presidents (president-elects)? I can't imagine Bush hasn't had a whole lot of them.
