hi everyone..

i'll be leaving tomorrow for vegas. i'm from cebu, i'm taking a domestic flight from cebu to manila through PAL. i weighed my bbb and bag, all just about right for the international baggage allowance, however, i'm worried for the domestic flight through PAL. the bbb weighs 48 lbs and my trolley 38 lbs. so i have a total of 86 lbs.

i have to pay the domestic flight excess baggage right? so given the excess baggage rate of 39 PHP per kilo, i get to pay 2769 PHP right? please tell me if i missed any vital infos, it's my first time to be traveling with excess baggage since i have been used to traveling light..

help me?

Keep one of your bags with you in the terminal, don't check it. Check only one bag. Then, one the way out to the plane, if your bag is too big, someone will check it at the plane so you'll bypass weigh in for at least 1 bag. No one said anything to me about not checking my extra bag, however if they had said anything, I would have said the bag has values that are too valuable to leave alone.

I did this once so far. I bring lots of kids clothes from the US with me when I come to the RP, clothes that I ask people to give to me, once in the RP, I give them away. I get kids clothes because they are small so I can bring lots with me, more than if I brought adult clothes. I been to the RP 4 times and next time is on November 21 so I have a sign up again at the community mailboxes in my neighborhood asking for more clothes. I always get more than enough clothes to take with me.

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

No, PAL will not reconsider. You will be paying the heavy baggage fee coz you go beyond the 20-kilo-limit for domestic flights.

That's okay dear. Anyway, you gonna see your hubby soon. Based on my experienced some PAL personnel gives discount but not that much like 1-2 kilos only. I paid 1,000plus for my 1 big suite case. Good luck and have a safe trip to Vegas.
