Hello dear VJers!

So I am filling out I-130 and G-325 and I have couple retarded question:

is it better to fill out the pdf and print it out or use a pen (black or blue ?)

I-130 form:

1. section C, #7 - I didnt change my last name, so should I repeat my last name in this field?

2. Section C, #22 - I am applying for CR-1 so I think I should leave the left side blank and fill out just the right side correct?

G-325 form:

Q: Show below last occupation abroad if not shown above

I worked abroad so I will include this but should I write something there like: see above or leave it blank?

Q: This form is submitted in connection with an application for:

what should I mark here? : status as a permanent resident or other and specify that it is for I-130 ?

my journey begins here....

thank you so much!!!!

Here's what we did for our application. Keep in mind we are still waiting for approval so any comments from others welcome.

is it better to fill out the pdf and print it out or use a pen (black or blue ?)

Fill in and print out - it will be neater and use CAPS for all info then use blue pen for signature. Have heard some cases where black pen was used and USCIS thought it was a copy rather than original. I know it sounds silly but better to be safe.

1. section C, #7 - I didnt change my last name, so should I repeat my last name in this field?

If you have no other name other than your maiden name I would just put NONE.

2. Section C, #22 - I am applying for CR-1 so I think I should leave the left side blank and fill out just the right side correct?

Always but N/A in any areas that are not applicable. I understood that this question only applies if you are in the US so I'm not sure about the right side.

Q: Show below last occupation abroad if not shown above

I worked abroad so I will include this but should I write something there like: see above or leave it blank?

Always but N/A in any areas that are not applicable.

Q: This form is submitted in connection with an application for:

Status as permanent resident.

Hope this helps. As I said I may have made some errors on our application - hopefully not but time will tell.

Good luck. There is a wealth of information on VJ so take some time to follow the various threads - everyone is very helpfull. Good luck.

:)

section c # 22, i understood that you are applying for the visa (CR!) from abroad or any of the U.S embassies, then yes your answer would be in the right side, just write the city and the country where you live or were the U.S embassy which you wan apply thru.

about using black pen or printing, Doesn't matter, but make sure everything is in CAPITAL letters, if i were you i would type in my data then print it out, since most of the PDF editions from USCIS are savable and editable; so just fill in the blanks with your data then print it out.

anything is not applicable just type N/A, dont use NONE or as above or as below or as some other section just answer with N/A

about the G-325's question about the connection, just type I-130 and nothing more

Good luck

how about my maiden name? i didn't change my last name so should I put N/A or repeat my lat name ?

Looking at the I130 form: 7. Other Names Used (including maiden name)[/b]

I would just repeat your maiden name. I didn't read the question closely when I sent you the previous post. Good luck :)
