Good Morning Mena!!! We leave in a few hours. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! :dance::dance:

Hubby is still sleeping, dog is outside, I'm doing laundry and gonna eat something.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Happy Caturday everyone

Just came back from the Hair salon.. :angry: hate my hair color!!!! she doesnt know what shes doing n i cdnt find the lady who always dyes my hair!!! im just arrrrrghhh. ok i need to calm down n be thankful for the blessing of even having hair on my head :innocent: alhamdulillah.

ok ill have to pay 3OO$ for overweight in my luggage and i guess ill just settle for that becoz i cant get myself to leave anything which is driving hubby crazy but i cant do it!

Have fun ladies at the meet up and looking forward to seeing loads of pix ;D im chilling at home tonight n tomo everybody is coming over for goodbyes :unsure::cry:

K&o let us know when hubby makes it home to ressure us eveyrthing if ok :thumbs:

Think about it though, for a one time move $300 is probably worth paying if you dont want to leave anything behind :thumbs:

Compare that to when you move and have to pay thousands to move your stuff...EEK!!

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

Usama's bag was waaay over but a wee bit of bageesh did the trick at the airport. I don't know how good you are at negotiating these things but if you want I can ask him what exactly he said to the peeps at the airport in Cairo.

I hope you all have a great time at the meetup! Hubby works at 4pm today but he is up early by my request so we can go to the mall together. We haven't done that at ALL since he got here in April so I'm wicked excited! Not really buying much, just exchanging some weirdo jeans I got at Old Navy for something that will actually fit. Any excuse to shop gets me all excited though especially if I'm with habibi!!! :wub:

would it be cheaper to just get another suitcase and pay extra for the suit case instead of a overweight fee? seams like thats what my girlfriend used to do.
