I didn't try to take any in, so don't know for sure. I didn't see any signs saying not to. But there's food to buy inside if hunger is your concern. At the back wall of the big room was soft drinks, sandwiches, candy bars, muffins, Starbucks brand coffee, fruit, crisps, etc sold by an attendant, not vending machines.

Anyone know if we're allowed to take food and drink into the Embassy when we go for our interview?

Cool, thanks. I just thought if people are saying they've had to wait in Embassy for a few hours then I might just get hungry! Definitely will be thirsty :-) Your answer helps!

Can't answer for London but in Ireland yes, you can bring in bottles of drink, cereal bars and baby food, we didn;t get asked to taste them or anything.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
