Hiya, I have a couple questions about the paperwork you send to your fiance after NOA 2:

1. How did you bind your papers? Did you do the top hole punch and metal fasteners like the original paperwork? Or did you just use paperclips.

2. For those of you who included MSN/yahoo/whatever chat logs as part of your proof of relationship, how much did you print out? I started to print some of ours and it was 287 pages just for one archive! I have four archives total. This seems rather excessive.

thanks in advance for any help

I responded to a posting exactly like this one yesterday. My Petition includes IM from Sept to Nov 2008 and has approached the 2" thickness mark. You will fine my friend. I wish I would be there to see whomever opens my Petition. I just know they are going to say OH MY GOD, due to the thickness. hehehe

I printed one page of chat logs per month since I met her. That worked out to 20 pages sent with my I-129F. I plan to do the same when I print out more for her interview. I also had about 15 pages of emails. I think the idea is quality, not quantity. Although quantity of quality doesn't hurt. :)

I bound mine on the top with the ACCO (sp?) slider thingees. I've done it with all paperwork I've submitted since the K-1. We are all the way to removal of conditions right now.

And, yes, mine was probably 5 lbs. of paperwork. I'm a big believer in bombarding them with proof.

How are you submitting your pictures? I color copied mine and bound them with the rest.

If they are in another language, you are going to need to translate. If that is the case, I would not send all of them....a variety covering months or years would suffice.

It's been a while; but I am thinking the originals should be your birth papers and any divorce decree(s).

Does your fiance have an exact copy of everything you sent in? If not, I would get one to them. I feel it's very important for that person to look over exactly what you sent in, should they get a question about any of it at the interview.

I colorcopied our pics, 2 per sheet and wrote the time and place they were taken next to them. Submitted about 16 or so pics and took all the originals to the interview.

You will need to send letter from employer, 6 months paystubs, Tax papers, W2s for the past 3 yrs, original birth certificate, divorce decree if any. Let me think if there was anything else and I will post it too
