hi ,

i have a problem .. few months ago i had applied form I-730 for spouse re- unification to the TSC then on 23th October the USCIs sent me an approval letter and they said that they will forward my case to the NVC...now after 2 weeks i called the NVC they said that they didn't receive my case yet.. i called the USCIS and followed the instructions of the automated message .. entered my receipt # .. the latest update was only case received and pending they didn't mention any thing about the approval NOA.. or forwarding the case to the NVC.. is that normal? how can i know where is my case now? and how can i talk to an operator directly?.. i don't want to wait months and then find out that my case had lost between the USCIS and the NVC... can you give any help pleeeeease...

Have you tried the online site for USCIS to see if it is updated there? I am sure if you got a letter then your case is approved. Sometimes they can be really slow updating their systems, but it doesn't mean it isn't approved. Hopefully NVC will update soon. Even NVC can be slow at times, but stay with it and call every other day.

This is the link to check a case status online at USCIS:

I never did talk to an operator so I'm not sure how that works, but it shouldn't matter, if you got the letter then it is approved.
