inkypinky,

I am in a kind of situation similar to yours. I had my interview on Oct 1st in Montreal. I was unable to get my medical done on time, due to short notice from NVC. So I carried a medical waiver and appeared for the interview. The interview went fine and he said everything is clear except the medicals. From the description you have given, it appears I was interviewed by the same male officer as you had. He asked to mail the medical when its ready. And he mentioned that we would hear back with in 2 weeks. I mailed my medical on Oct 22nd. I am still waiting to hear back from the embassy. I send them an email last week and I got a reply saying that my case is under review. I don't know what they mean by that. I am also looking for a way to get in touch with a live person in Montreal embassy. Or even go the embassy myself to check on the status. But I am not sure how to get an appointment for that. So I would greatly appreciate if you could keep me posted if you find a way to contact the Montreal embassy in person.

Thanks,

Nikkim
