EAD, AP, Interview Notice - Will they be mailed to me or my attorney, or both?

Hi everyone,

I am one of the few who discovered this site just a few weeks too late. I actually hired an attorney to handle my AOS (had I found VJ sooner, I would have def. DIYed)... As shown in my timeline, I got an RFE a while ago. The letter never came to me, instead it went to the attorney. I am wondering if the EAD, AP, as well as the interview notice - would they come to me, or would they be mailed to my attorney instead? Could someone share their experiences? Thank you for your input, and have a great weekend!!

USCIS should be mailing NOAs to both you and the attorney. RFEs usually get sent to the attorney only. You can also check the status of your cases online without your attorney.

Oct 5 07 - NOA1 issued

Jan 17 08 - NOA2 issued!

May 07 08 - VISA IN HAND!

Aug 16 08 - WEDDING!

They have to give notice to the applicant, but they figure all the evidentiary issues are handled by the attorney and there is only one yellow RFE notice to go around. Good luck!
