Hope you all have a great day, I have the day off, I have a house to clean, tons of papers to write, oh the joys of never having a second to just sit and do NOTHING. Those babies are soooooooooooooooo adorable, thanks for sharing your pictures.

Happy Friday :)

I'm being lazy and procrastinating :P but I really need to buckle down and clear off my desk and re-organize my office after my hubby spent a few hours in here last night

I've decided that I want to go on a cruise this year for our aniversary  We live next to a very large cruise port and can easily spare 3-4 days (inshalla) - I didn't have a honeymoon last year, so I told my husband he has to go somewhere with me for our 1 yr aniversary :innocent: Only problem is that it's right before Christmas and I think any trip is going to be a little more expensive than normal - I'm hoping to not spend more than $1,000 total  but at least we won't have to pay for airfare

I've been on many many cruises and I highly suggest you go to http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/ to review the various options! It's similar to tripadvisor.com in that real people write in about their experiences. It's really sooooo much better economically when you factor in the food, etc. The only thing I will suggest, and sorry if you already know this, is if you are doing excursions try to research them on your own. The cruise ship jacks up the price and you can get them for almost 50% off if you book them yourselves. Happy cruising I wish I could afford to go right now!!!! We never had a honeymoon either. The only thing remotely close was our mini trip to Mount Washington. Just thought up a good idea to ask for a Christmas present from the family!!!

I get my stitches out today!!! I can finally take a bubble bath!!!:dance:

Kind of funny but I filed for short term disability since it's a free bennie through work and the woman called and said she spoke to my surgeon and he said I should be good to start back to work next Monday.

 I've been back to work since last friday!!! lol

Kelly I'm glad you're feeling better!

I know it must be so hard to leave everything and everyone behind for a new place. Enjoy your time with your family and I hope you work out a good way to bring the things you want with you.

Good morning!

Aymsgirl...Have fun girl!

S and S...I am in shock for what you posted about the snow!!! :o OMGGGGGGG..NOT READY FOR THAT!

We are having very warm temps here in Philly and I'd like to see it stay a wee bit longer..Hubby is coming in 6 days!!!!!!!!!

God Bless you and I am praying for all of you still waiting to hear news.

Have a great weekend.....I'll be a busy bee for sure

I was shocked too, at first I thought it was some kind of joke until I checked it out and realized it is real. That much snow in early November is crazy.

Good Morning! :)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I'm not much of an organizer by any means but would be willing to work with anyone who is more skilled in this area for a future gathering.

Would really enjoy connecting with other people here who have offered so much support.

Any other Northeasterners have ideas/suggestions/interest?

Morning MENA (F)

I'm having a bad night/day. My best friend and god mother to my twins called last night to tell me her mother fell and hit her head but hadn't told anyone till over 8 hours later when she started vomiting. She was heading to the hospital. At that point we all thought concusion since she was throwing up. Within 3 hours, she had a CAT scan, was moved to ICU and now we are being told she will not make it past 24 hours. She has bleeding on the brain, is on blood thinners so there is basically nothing they can do. If they operate, they can not stop all the bleeding, its basically as if she's had a stroke. Life would never be the same so the doctors have offered hospice at this point. :(:crying: I just keep thinking of all the times together and how we were making our Thanksgiving plans...life is so short............

Life sure can change quickly! :( I'm having a horrible day too. That's become the norm for me lately though. :(

Sorry Annie. My mom also fell a few days ago right in front of me as we were leaving a restaurant. She hit/twisted her knee and her head and I was SO WORRIED something like this would happen to her too. She is also on blood thinners and I would just crumble if I lost my mom in this time. Luckily she seems okay but this isn't the first time she's fallen lately and I'm starting to get really worried. I wish you and your friend's family peace during this awful time.

*hugs* Annie!!!
