when my husband gave me our case number, i check it right away at the website (www.uscis.gov).. Good thing, i can see the information of our papers without errors or delay. I know for sure, your case number will be visible online soon. GOD bless

06-21-2013 USCIS received my N400 application


06-25-2013 USCIS mailed the NOA1

07-01-2013 Received NOA1 and Biometrics appt letter

02-20-2014 mailed I-130 for my parents


02-24-2014 USCIS received the I-130 docs


03-17-2014 USCIS approved the petition (took 15 days, weekdays only)


03-25-2014 USCIS shipped the approved case to NVC


04-02-2014 NVC received the papers (6 days from the approval date)


05-01-2014 Got the 2 case numbers. (21 days)


05-07-2014 Got an email & paid the AOS fee (4 days); DS-261(Choice of Agent) sent


05-09-2014 AOS status "PAID" (2 days from the date the was paid)


05-22-2014 AOS docs delivered in NVC


06-27-2014 RFE for I864 and I864A (i left the Place of residence blank, 26 days from the date they received the AOS)

That's very nice. While us, it's just 6 days and it will be a month already since we received our NOA, and still, it doesn't show up... this is terrible.

I just received our NOA1 in the mail. It was dated Dec. 2. I just went to the website: uscis.gov to check the case status online and it was there---YIPPEE!! My case is at VSC, but hopefully it will go through without many problems.

A fellow poster on another forum who has the same timeline as myself had his case finally show up online today. So hopefully my case will show up tomorrow...fingers crossed...or atleast by the end of the week...

my NOA1 dated oct 30,still doesn't show up online

My NOA1 dated Oct 26 showed up actually right at that time. Mine is in California though.

10-30-2014 - Naturalization interview and test Columbus Ohio office.

Application changed to five year as mark reached while waiting for interview

Passed civic test and interview recommends approval !!!

10-30-2014 - NOA hand letter stating recommendation for approval and wait for letter of approval and oath
11-13-2014 - Case Status updated "We scheduled your oath ceremony"

11-14-2014 - NOA letter final interview and oath Tuesday 11-25-2014

11-25-2014 - Final red tape and oath ceremony Columbus, Ohio Officially a US Citizen!!!

- Applied US Passport at local post office

08-2016 - Received 10 year Q2 visa to visit China as a US citizen

Hi fellow vjrs,

I'm so so upset. why? hear this... (*deep sigh)

When I called USCIS, to ask why our status still doesn't show up online, they told me that only the petitioner who can call and inquire about it. Like wth?? I'm the beneficiary. So of course my husband called the ever useful USCIS, why our case still doesn't show up online for over a month already, then this is the dumbest thing ever I ever knew...

..The lady told my husband that if after a week of our NOA1 date and still our case doesn't show up online, it might never be there due to volume of petitions they are encoding online. So we just have to keep calling them check the status of our case, like #######??? what's the use of rendering the service of CHECK YOUR STATUS ONLINE if others can't use it???????

i dunno why this is happening. Actually my husband just received again an update from USCIS the other day and when i check it on the web its not yet there so maybe it will be in the system next week. Hope so...

yeah, it is indeed terrible. :(

I just don't understand why these people can't do their damn job...

So what's going to happen here in that my husband just have to wait whenever that NOA2 comes in the mail, or keep calling them until they can put that receipt number online, which I don't think will happen.

Hay.... I'm just taking things positively, that's the last resort I have.
