I am excited to share with you all that I just recieve word via email that our I-130 was approved as of 2/23/09! :dance:

Gosh I am relieve!

Anyways, any approx idea before petition reaches NVC?

Also, what documents will be needed for NVC stage?

Sorry jiskat i forgot about you...but i'm kinda jealous as how VSC has picked up the paces and people who filed in Jan 09 are getting approved. But I still feel sorry for those who have filed before us and are still waiting for their approvals...this whole system is just totally messed up...

This is just getting really frustrating...i'm thinking about flying out to India just to see my wife coz airfare seems to be at an all time low...but then i don't want to leave here thinking that any day the NOA2 will arrive and i'll be able to get the ball rolling with the NVC...

My family has had just bad luck with the USCIS...my citizenship took almost 1.5 years when people were getting done in less then 6 months...and my poor father has been waiting for his oath ceremony for over a year now...so his total journey has been over 2.5 years so far...i'll just be happy once i dont' have to deal with the USCIS anymore...

Sorry, but I needed to vent...

Maleena, congrats to you dear. Oh my that is great. Seems like Jskat and I are going to be the last ones standing on the Journey. We haven't even had a touch since our I-130 and I-129f were combined in December. Meanwhile all the newbies come and go...well what can you do but wait and pray.

With mixed emotions I must say YAY!!! after I posted earlier I was YM chatting with my wife and then I received EMAIL that said NOA2 is received/approved!!!

We made it...now it is time for Deka and KAT !!! I will not leave you until you move on so don't worry. Kat, we will call you in Manila. Hope by then we are all getting on the NVC train!!

you're next jiskat don't worry...

once they receive your RFE they will approve within a few days...

i had to send in some RFE last week for my mother's I-130/I-485 case and they received it on tuesday and i got the approval for that case yesterday...

i'm hearing good news from USCIS every day seems like, let's hope either today or tomorrow i will hear that her green card has been produced...lol

You mean, you got RFE too?? We will submit it next week. The certified birth certificate of my husband are on the way - the health office says, they will mail it. Its been 3 days now - they are so slow.. and its wrong spelling thats why i got grrrrrrrrrrrr
