Going to Russia is a great solution for avoiding the hollow cry of 'socialism' which the American people already rejected. Good luck! You can go to Russia, enjoy their wonderful system of government, and make nothing for them to take! God speed!

that is all well and good, but how about when economic and human rights issues overlap? for example with healthcare.

How is healthcare a human rights issue? Does the fact that you have to pay for it seem somehow inhumane?

when i can't afford it and face dying, yes? or do you think my dying of a disease i can't afford to treat is humane?

If a disease you have costs $10,000,000 to treat, the NHS is not going to pay for it, you know.

So no, it's not inhumane to let you die of an expensive disease.

Because if it doesn't cost that much that even the NHS will pay for it, what makes you think your health insurance provider in the US won't pay for it?

because as i just said, i won't be able to afford the insurance in the first place. i can pay for the start of it myself but if it doesn't improve i cannot pay for what is required further down the line. i don't want this thread to turn into a depressing discussion. lets just leave it at that eh. :)

that was what i was saying, the premiums are going to be too high so i'll just have to make it without it. insurance really would clean me out, taxes however are not that costly. ;)

i feel offended as an american that anyone could compare the soviet union or even present day russia to the US,

its not even comparable and ANY WAY the US goes under an Obama leadership is 100x better than russia anytime either today or in the past 100 years, (and im saying this as a republican)

No offence but she should be happy just to be able to come to this country at all. . .

But if we can't afford to stay here, then what difference does it make?

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.
