Advice appreciated : No biometric appointment but have interview date

Hi,

According to the case online status, a letter regarding my EAD and I-485 application is returned to them as undeliverable. However, I received a letter showing an interview date for I-485. (which is confusing and that was also how I found out that my EAD is undeliverable) Since I had not moved and I have been receiving NOAs from them, I didn't understand why I will receive one on I-485 and not on EAD.

Nevertheless, I called them to confirm my address and to have it resent. It has been 30 days with no news and the service call number is proved to be useless. Hence, once again, they will require me to wait for another 30days. Its a long waiting game.

My question is I have not receive any news about biometric scan but yet I have the interview appointment. Will that be a problem? What should I do about my EAD application apart from relying on customer service centre?

Also how long will it take to have the green card issued after the interview?

I received my AOS interview letter prior to biometrics. I scheduled an infopass appointment, and was told that my EAD is already approved somewhere (in fact, it was approved for more than 1.5 months by that time!) and was sent to biometrics.

I hope it is nothing wrong in your situation.

I went to my interview having not been given a biometrics appointment. They actually gave me the appointment letter at the interview instead and I went for the biometrics a few weeks later.
