Hello i want to help a friend do her paperwork, where do i start!?

whats the best for her?!She has a student visa that expires in December of 08 and she is currently in san diego and is from Peru

She is currently engaged! whats her best option?

Gettign married and filing for which type of visa?!

of course her fiancee is an american citizen!

Can't say what is best for her since only she (and her fiance) know that.

If she wants to marry this man - she of course can - then can file to Adjust Status. If she does, she can not leave the US until her AOS is complete or risk not being allowed back into the US. If she's willing to remain in the US - that's an option.

That sounds like the best solution, get married and then file for AOS. I am not sure if it matters when here student visa expires so they may want to check into that as well.
