PCC from RCMP

Hey,

Here is a scanned copy of a photo copy of the Police certificate I sent the original of to the NVC. I took out all private info, but was wondering if this is the right one. Can someone tell me if it is? Thank you so much!!!

They won't accept it in French. It will need to be translated or you'll have to get an English copy from the RCMP.

Mine looked very different...but I'm also in Ontario. If my scanner weren't broken I'd put mine up for you. Mine was bilingual and clearly had the RCMP crest and name at the top. It also had my photograph on it. Again, could just be the difference in the provinces, but even the crest on mine is entirely different from the crest on this one. Are you sure it was from the RCMP?

He said it was, but he got it for free over the counter and when I looked at a website for the RCMP certificates just a few moments ago, they don't show one at the location this says it is from. So... I need to call my husband and tell him what I am hearing from other people. Did yours cost money and take more than a day to get back?

Pretty sure it will have to be in English. And somewhere it will have to say it was a Canada wide search (some just have a box that has to be checked off)

and the forms can look different, even if it is from the RCMP. Mine was a RCMP one, and it was FREE,but others that went to different RCMP detachments had to pay a fee and,they looked different as well. There is no consistency.

Mine is from the RCMP in Alberta and looks different as well. It says Police Certificate for Travel/Visa, etc on it.

It looks like it's from "Sûreté du Québec", the provincial police. He needs something from RCMP or GRC in French! That way it will be bilingual

Mine was free (but I believe that varies from office to office) and I had it in my hands in 5 minutes.

I got my police check from the city police here, but it says on it that it was run through CPIC - that's alright eh? RCMP juristiction is outside the city limits here.

Doesn't have to be from the RCMP, your city police document will be fine, as long as it says Canada wide name check on it
