Hi,

My first post, although I've been reading this forum a lot recently. Thanks to everyone for your stories and helpful information.

The London Embassy said (on the phone: the charged 'Operator Assisted Visa Information' number) that they had sent me Packet 3 on October 29. It hasn't arrived yet and I suspect Royal Mail has lost it in the post. So, instead I've been downloading the forms off this webpage:

http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/.../visaforms.html

The forms that (I think) I need to send are:

DS230 part 1

DS156 (in duplicate)

DS156K

DS157

So, here's the first question:

1. Is there anything else that I need to send along with those 4 forms? (Any other forms, passport sized photos, evidence of relationship, the affidavits, etc.)?

I'm aware that I will need to send the checklist stating that I have all necessary documents/information/evidence compiled and ready. I already have all the information. So, here's the second question:

2. Should I send the completed checklist in the same envelope as the other 4 forms, or at a slightly later date (next week)?

Any advice/ answers will be really appreciated. Thank you everyone, and the best of luck with your visa applications!

Scott

wow, that's odd. they told me they sent mine on 29th october too and i'm still waiting!

Hi rocks,

Here's hoping that tomorrow's postman will bring good news to both of us.

In the mean time, let me echo my plea to anyone for information (see original post) just in case Packet 3 never turns up.

Thanks all,

Scott

We've got a copy of the London packet 3 that you are more than welcome to download... has all the forms etc.. if you want it just PM us your email address and we'll add you to our skydrive. The packet is just too big to email directly.

You'll get an email inviting you to view the folder - click the link and it's yours!

Hope we can help!
