That just made me smile too....as Chris says it like that as well.

I love the way he calls me Mand...(short for Amanda)

hahahaha.........I wish my bloke thought it was cute in my 10 yr old....he is always correcting him cos he thinks he will get his a$$ kicked when he goes to school in the US....although his mum says the girls will love love it

I get so used to his American accent but my girlfriends always remind how sexy it is :D and I called him at work one day and one of his coworkers answered and told him he could sit and talk to me all day, so it works both ways :dance:

Well, my sweetie's accent is usually pretty 'posh' (as it goes), but he does a wickedly sexy 'faw'een'. SWOON and THUD.

WOW I got sidetracked. *brain sweat*

ANYwho I am surprised that his mom didn't take exception to it, either. She definitely wanted him pronouncing things 'properly'. Lucky for me that one slipped through the cracks.

WHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (L) (L)

Yeah, everytime I try practicing my spanish with Luis he starts laughing, how the heck does he want me to learn his language if he only teases me? :P

I keep telling him he´s gonna traumatize me and then I won´t communicate properly and he keeps saying, don´t worry, you speak English, people here speak English. But it´s not everywhere, not in his family. :( I wanna move to Puerto Rico and be able to use my spanish!

I also love my fiance's accent. I love the way he says my name, I make him say it over and over again. It sounds like Britzet. And I love it when he picks up slang like "Oh look who's tallking" or "I was born ready","It's the name of the game", etc. When I speak Greek to him he starts to hypervenalate with laughter. Hey, I'm trying.. Greek is not an easy language to learn.

Tracy, you mean you melt like BUH' ER?

I think I have made him repeat the word continental a dozen times, just love the way it sounds.

On one of his visits, we went to a local restaurant, with six of us at the table, the brit was the only one who got extra special attention from the waitress. As he begins to order she interrupts him, "ware ewe frum", "oh my gosh, I would pay to sitten and listen to ewe jast tawk all daaaaaay". I am next to him gagging, thinking to myself I would pay to get you some proper English lessons!
