I don't see the new government having anything to do with speeding up fiancee visas. Maybe, very maybe spousal visas. But that even sounds far fetched.

I think there's a small chance of reduced fees in the future, but little else.

You actually expect government to reduce a "safe clobber"?

(Basically means it's SAFE to CLOBBER you with a fee increase each budget)

I'm curious what people think about this. A friend of mine seems to think that come January, all of these seriously delayed visa applications will speed up quite a bit. I'm somewhat doubtful. What do people out there think?
