Cats are great - but not so good to take walks with.

Plus, the average dog will die in defence of its owner. The cat will hide in the bushes and emerge when the coast is clear to make a meal off of your corpse.

If the Secret Service aren't good enough to keep the President safe, do they really have a dog just in case? A cat will also give the final insult by peeing on the perps shoes. :P

golden retriever..... they are so cute as puppies and they are so sweet and gentle when they get older....

yep, great family dogs.

a family I worked for had one,... she was the sweetest thing...... when the kids were in bed and i would be sitting on the couch watching TV she would always come and sit on my feet.... she kept my feet nice and toasty warm... :)

My inlaws had a big ole lab that did that. It was GREAT on a cold winter UK night...
