Okay..... I just got an email from USCIS! I was so happy thinking it was an approval but then the message was:

Receipt Number: LINxxxxxxxxx

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On June 1, 2006, we transferred your I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.

OMG I'm freaking out here...... does anyone have an answer? I know that Nebraska is the one who should process our case since David lives in Indiana. But..... why did this happen??????????

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Thanks.....but..... does it start all over again now?? Like if my NOA1 was from June 1st? Oh man I hope not....... this is not fair...... :crying:

December 26, 2006 - Darcy's last day of employment on his 90-day work authorization. Bummer!

December 27, 2006 - Filed AOS and EAD paperwork

January 3, 2006 - Receipt date of NOA1

January 11, 2007 - 'touched'

January 17, 2007 - transferred to CSC

January 19, 2007 - biometrics appointment

January 22, 2007 - 'touched'

January 23, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

January 24, 2007 - 'touched'

January 31, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

February 1, 2007 - GREEN CARD ORDERED!!!

February 5, 2007 - Received Welcome Letter

February 11, 2007 - received GREEN CARD!!

Can't see any reason WHY it would start over - you already HAVE the NOA1 - there'd be little point in CSC re-doing it

Odd Nebraska sent it to CSC tho - maybe they are changing MORE 'traditions'? but hopefully they will clarify soon *hugs*

Applied for K1

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

Sian and I just received the same notice.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Ours was originally Texas and moved to CSC early on, just checking my status, I've noticed they've changed the processing date (90 - 120 days) removing it compleatly.

I sure hope CSC have stopping processing other types of visas if they are taking all these K1s then..

Try not to worry hun, at least something is happening (F)
