Dear all,

We submitted our I-751 package a few weeks back. As we were preparing the package, we overlooked the fact that the statements/bills should cover the period of time from receiving the conditional green card to the present. So a good bit of the statements/bills that we included focus on the more recent time. Nevertheless, we also think that there is still some other evidence we included that shows that we share a life together. Below is a detailed list of what we submitted. We got our conditional green card in November 2006. We submitted our package in August 2008. We would greatly appreciate any feedback on whether these documents look adequate. Thank you very much!

1. Joint federal tax returns for tax years 2007 and 2006 (personal copies).

2. Joint state tax return for tax year 2007 (personal copies).

3. Joint apartment leases for terms 2008-2009, 2007-2008 and 2006-2007.

4. Statements for joint checking and savings account for August 2008, July 2008, June 2008 and December 2007, and copies of debit cards for this checking and savings account. There are two debit cards for both of us.

5. Opening statements for 3 joint CD accounts, periodic renewal notices for these CD accounts and a *recent* statement showing the current status of these CD accounts. The opening dates for the CD accounts are between February 2007 and October 2007.

6. Copies of joint credit cards, and statements for this credit card for August 2008, July 2008, June 2008 and December 2007.

7. Designation of the spouse as the beneficiary in the retirement account of the conditional resident, and a *recent* statement that shows the accumulated funds in this retirement account. The designation is dated June 2006. The recent statement is for the March-June 2008 quarter.

8. Designation of the spouse as the beneficiary in the mutual fund account of the conditional resident, and a *recent* statement that shows the accumulated funds in this mutual fund account. The designation is dated February 2008. The recent statement is for the March-June 2008 quarter.

9. Designation of the spouse as the beneficiary in the life insurance plan of the conditional resident. The designation is dated June 2006.

10. Joint car insurance policies for years 2008 and 2007.

11. Joint health insurance cards, and notices from the health insurance company showing that both the conditional resident and the spouse have been using this health insurance plan. The notices span the period June 2007-July 2008.

12. Joint dental insurance cards, and notices from the dental insurance company showing that both the conditional resident and the spouse have been using this dental insurance plan. The notices span the period June 2007-July 2008.

13. Airline ticket reservations for 4 trips taken by the conditional resident and the spouse, and some boarding passes for these trips. The tickets span the period June 2006-July 2008.

14. Bills and statements indicating that the conditional resident and the spouse live at the same address.

15. Affidavits from a family member and a family friend.

16. Postcards and holiday cards addressed to the conditional resident and the spouse.

17. Holiday photos of the conditional resident and the spouse. The photos span the period June 2006-July 2008.

18. Copy of marriage certificate.

Looks good to me. It's low on documents that span the entire length of your marriage, but you already know that. You may or may not get an RFE, who knows? :)

Good luck to you.

You have plenty. The only thing I would suggest to everyone is to send taxes transcripts from the IRS, not just your personal copies fro H&R or Jackson Hewitt. I mentioned in othes posts that in my RFE they specifically added that the taxes shoud be transcript from a goverment institution (IRS).

I don't think this would be a reason for an RFE (it wasn't my reason because i sent transcripts the first time), but to everyone reading this post and getting ready to sent the i-751 package try to send Transcripts from the IRS, not just your personal copies.

Good luck to everyone
