Romney would have had credibility on the economy.

Yeah, it was on O'Reilly last night. She was so bad, even Fox News covered the story.

Ron Paul was my choice, knows how to hit the nail on the head. Still smoked filled room stuff going on, we may think we have a choice at the primaries, but really do not. Look how Rove dumped McCain in the 2000 election, Nixon blackballed Muskie, and JFK got stuck with Johnson.

Will Sarah be back in 2012? Possibly, but since they are starting campaigns two years early now, that only gives her two years to jam in 19-21 years of schooling. She probably will get hung up in learning the alphabet in kindergarten.

The thought of Sarah even being close to that proverbial red button made my voting choice a lot simpler.

I think Palin might try to become the Republican nominee in 2012, but I don't think the entire party will accept it.

If Obama's first term is successful, 2012 will be no contest. Obama will stay in office for another term.

If he is not successful, Republicans have a chance, if they can reconcile thier diffrenences and find a new voice. Otherwise infighting in the Republican party may result in two candidates, Palin or someone like her to represent the christian conservatives, and someone like Romney to represent the elitist/business side of the party. Its quite possible both will actually be running for president along with a democratic canidate. THe conservative vote will be split, allowing Obama or another democrat to be elected.

Newsweek had this bit of information. They were given access to the candidates with the agreement that they not release any reports until after the election.

Apparently, this is the first of many Newsweek articles about the campaigns to follow in the coming week. The majority of the juicy stuff is regarding Palin and McCain staffers. From some of the interviews I heard this morning, the Obama campaign was actually pretty boring in this regard.
