April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

2nd March 2006 - I-129F Sent

13th March 2006 - NOA1 & Cheque cashed

30th June 2006 - Received RFE re IMBRA

3rd July 2006 - Mailed RFE to CSC

4th July 2006 - Touched re RFE

5th July 2006 - Touched

18th July 2006 - Touched confirmed receipt for RFE. #######?! I know they received the RFE on 4th July!! Skanks!!!

17th August 2006 - NOA2 finally!!!

11th September 2006 - Package 3 sent to US Consulate (DS-230 part 1, DS-156, DS-156K)

8th October 2006 - Sent checklist to Consulate to confirm that all documents are available for interview

13th October 2006 - Medical (11:30am) - Friday 13th Aaaaaaaaaargh!!!

7th December 2006 - Interview at 10am

7th December 2006 - Consular requested "Proof of non-existence of birth certificate"

15th December 2006 - Courier picked up "Proof of non existence of birth certficate" - what I did? I contacted my lawyer in Vietnam and asked him to search for my NON-EXISTENCE birth certificate and had him write an affidavit of his finding. What a waste of time and money!!

22nd December 2006 - K1 Approved. Finally!

May 5, 2006-NOA1

June 1, 2006-Transferred to CSC

June 14, 2006-Received letter confirming transfer

June 15, 2006-Touch!

June 16, 2006-Touch!

June 17, 2006-Touch!

June 30, 2006-Received RFE!

June 30, 2006-mailed RFE to CSC (overnight)

July 3, 2006-Touch!

July 4, 2006-Touch!

July 5, 2006-CSC received RFE

July 6, 2006-Received email confirming CSC received RFE

July 27, 2006-Touch!

Just glancing at timelines it seems the transfers from Nebraska to CA and then had multiple touches are on people who filed in March

Sounds like they might be doing the right thing and busting a$$ on the ones that are the oldest, God pray that it goes quick now!!!!

Not true we filled in April and our NOA1 date is 24/04/06 and we have had 3 touches recently.

Sent AOS, EAD - 3/27/07

RFE for AOS - 04/26/07

OK - that blow that theory. At least they are doing SOMEthing!!

really stupid question: how do yuo know if your case has been touched? is that mean that they've updated the case status on the USCIS website or is there some other way to find out that i don't know about? we've been touched once about the move (well, 4 emails saying the same thing, but i count that as once), and expect to receive a notice soon from CSC saying "case received".
