should be interesting. Once we start to see NOA2s coming out it should give everyone a better idea of what to expect. Until then, I am gonna have to just plan another trip back to Peru before I run out of the pisco I have left ;)

I told Kathe the silver lining in this is that she might miss moving to the US in the middle of a Cleveland winter :P

I have also noticed alot of petitions being sent to LOCAL offices

this happend to me but, for my I-130 petition. it was NOT good news at all.

Considering the backlog caused by USCIS not being ready for IMBRA........this may be the best thing that they did to alleviate the backlog and get things moving faster. Your I-130 shon was sent to a local office for very different reasons.

********************************************************************************

*******

maybe the reasons are the same or maybe the reasons are not. when I got NOA1 it was transfer to Local office from CSC. seems like none of these people got approvals on the I-129f. Dont discount the fact that there could aslo be the possiblity of each USCS k-1 Petitioner getting seen at the local USICS.

if that should happen, I suspect it will be a fairly quick process. A few mins maybe to fill out a questionaire.

My finacee and I originally had filed our papers in the Nebraska Office and then he got 3 duplicate emails telling him they transfered our papers to California. We have since heard that there is a new proposed I129F form as of March 26,2006, and they are deciding whether or not to prorate this to those who filed as of March 4,2006. Apparently it involves more of a Criminal background check. So basically from what we understand it they have our paper work and are holding onto it until further notice. Which means we wait...again...who knows how long a delay this could cause now. If anyone has more information please share! Thanks. :help:

I wouldn't be suprised if they do have one SC do all the processing. I just wonder why California is the one they picked with all the backlog already. It's a mysteeeeeeeeery!

hopefully it doesnt slow down other petitions, they got to hire more people, instead of donating all that money to africa. That money never makes it to the hands of the people. the leaders eat it all up. There supply chain is all ######

Strange senario now. I was moved on the website to CSC on June 1st. Looked at USCIS website today and they show that it was updated today June 2nd. Hope thats a sign that someone is alive. Suicide almost seems like a viable solution when attempting to access government services that are funded by our tax dollars.

16/10/2006- Interview date- I'm nervous and my fiance is cool calm and collective. And she's the one that has to do the interview.

Nebraska is going to be handling Immigrant worker visas, and CSC and VCS are going to be handling K1/K3-type visas. Have no idea what the Texas SC is going to be doing.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I sent mine in May 23rd and they got it on May 25th (nebraska) I havn't gotten an e-mail or anything in regular mail, should i be worried or does it usually take awhile to hear from them for the first time?

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.
