Good Morning/Day VJers,

I came across this article on cancer:

With friends and family all around me either with tumours and/or cancer and dying, I start to tune into just how many people are getting cancer all across the world.

The U.S. has mapped out the entire genome!

Crazy...think about that for a moment.

What with "The War on Cancer" you'd think we could have it beat by now.

Ha!

It seems to me that "The War" on anything just gives it more weight, in other words, we are not solving we are creating more of it.

So, with that wonderful piece of news, perhaps you can ask yourselves why is it that "the war" on something doesn't work, and who would be losing (profits, etc.) if things were actually solved.

To think like this makes me sick to my stomach...and if the shoe fits....

And as far as cancer is concerned, I highly doubt that our Earth's current agricultural systems/process have anything to do with it;

the pesticides,

the air pollution,

the water pollution,

the disregard for decency in the treatment of farm animals,

none of it.

Bah!!!

And so...

Where does that leave us...

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010
