Harare Embassy is driving me crazy

The latest is my wife was told today that the documents never arrived from the NVC and they won't do her interview until they arrive. NVC confirms today that the documents were shipped by DHL on Oct 10, 2008. They also sent them electronically. NVC says the Embassy must request the docs again. Am working on tracking that shipment with DHL to see when it would have arrived.

The Embassy cancelled the original interview and told my wife they make their own appointments. She complied with their request to complete the medical process and submit proof of relationship and now this latest news. I thought the end was in sight......

I am soooo Sorry. That is not good! Do you have the tracking number? If you do then maybe you can get the signature of who signed. That almost happened on another post in Japan.

It sounds like they just lost it completely!

Thanks for the kind wishes. I am not sure about the tracking number. Other threads have explained how to track the shipment, if I can figure it out, it might help.

This is what happened to me @ interview in Tokyo on Nov04.

8:40am

>My number got called.

>Went to counter #4 and the staff (Japanese) made sure I had all the

>doc I needed.

>At first, she could not find the doc I already fined @ NVC.

>My husband already confirmed and gave the date and person's name

>who signed. Oct 17 by DHL arrived @ US embassy in Tokyo.,,

>She asked her boss and took my doc from a drawer. (whew...)

>She told me to go back and wait.

am glad her boss knew where they had stored my doc.

my husband copied every sheet we turned in and I had it w me.

but I would have to come back there if she could not find my

original doc from NVC.
