Supposedly, there are some of us that have the "roller coaster gene." We are the ones that love the rides at fairs and amusment parks, live to bungy jump and ride motorcycles and sky dive. I know I do!

I was just thinking about The Zipper at the fair and I got all excited and wanted to see if there were any others out there...

We both do - but we both love the rollercoasters, not any "spinny" go-round-in-a-circle kind of rides. We went to Canada's Wonderland last weekend and rode about 9 rollercoasters. It kind of pales in comparison to Cedar Point, which we went to last summer, and that is about 40 minutes from our house.

As for motorcycles, I had a GSXR750 but Holly made me sell it, so now we have a Goldwing Aspencade instead, that we can both ride on. Not quite in the same league, really.

ugh...my ex had a GSXR and those things are VERY uncomfortable for any riders on the back let me tell you! We did a charity ride from Toronto to London and back and my azz was sore for weeks!

Not long after that he went front wheel first over the hood of a car and wrecked it. Landed on his head.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

I never even bothered to put the passenger seat on mine - I left the solo seat on it all the time. Sometimes when accelerating hard, it would shove me back against it, so I figured I would rather have it there than a passenger seat that nobody in their right mind would want to ride on.

Not long after that he went front wheel first over the hood of a car and wrecked it. Landed on his head.

Did that on my 750 Interceptor. Moron in a pickup truck did an unsignaled, unexpected U-turn from the right lane of a four lane road right in front of me (I was in the left lane). I went over the hood of the truck, did a flip in the air, landed on my feet and quickly hit the ground sliding. Wrecked that bike, and some of me as well.

Only good thing about it was that I ripped most of the front left corner of the truck off, did substantial damage to the truck fender, bumper and LF wheel - and he had JUST bought it, it was so new that he was driving it home from the dealership. Served him right. :)

damn straight!

When my ex went ### over tea kettle, the guy cut him off on Lakeshore Blvd with an illegal left turn. Turns out the guy had had his license confiscated the week before for DWI. By the same dang cop who turned up at the accident scene! What odds eh?

No idea if my ex ever got a new bike tho, we broke up not long after that.

Oooh! We both love rollercoasters. But I absolutely refuse to do the rocking canoe/gondola thinggy that looks so innocent, if you know what I mean. Almost made me sick the one time I rode that.

However, we have friends who will not pay money to get scared :lol:

Anyone else notice that the women here seem to be braver then the men????

HEY HEY HEY!!! Not me!!! I LOVE roller coasters, of ALL varieties, and I love flying, and jet skiing, and 4 wheeling, ATVs, and any other type of ride! :D:thumbs:

The ONLY thing I hate about amusement parks... is the lines!!! :(

Oh... the one kind or ride I don't like... the ones that spin in circles, like the one you stand in and they drop the floor as you are pinned against the wall due to the centrifical force... instant headache!!!
