Congratulations!!!!!

Hope you don't mind me asking a question...

The passport photos you took to the interview - are these in addition to the two you sent in with DS-230?

Domo arigatooooo!!

That's right.

I turned in additional 2 passport size picture of myself

@ US embassy in Tokyo just before my interview.

Although, I had already sent them my passport size pictures

with DS-230 a few months ago...

I thought I didn't have to at first. I had extra picts so

I just turned them in without asking them. Maybe you can

ask them if you really need to. If you have to turn picts in addition

you can still take picts @ the machine inside embassy.

>Got a chair, filled out the form. My name, address, phone number,

>address / phone number in the US. The form also tells us to place

>documents in order. #1 : 2x passport picts, #2: passport.........

>I already filed most of doc, so I just put my picts, passport,

>ExPack* and med doc + Xray.

never took that many passport picts before.

I had to take one for medical check!

so basically, those 2 pictures, the last 2 pictures you turn in,

will be on your VISA.

I recommend you to have pictures ready so you have less things

to worry about. just my opinion... ^_^

Thank you so much for getting back to me so promptly! My case is for my mom, 67-year old Japanese woman, doesn't speak a word of English! Anyway, you and your husband's posts are full of excellent information, I am so glad that you've decided to share them with us all.

Wishing you many, many happy days ahead!

Michiko
