Truth be told...I wonder what difference that leader (aka scape goat) actually makes.

I wonder how much power a party has.

I wonder if the people speak, can change not happen.

I wonder why a civil right was taken away in California.

I wonder who has control of the money in this country.

I wonder where the power is.

I wonder if The Patriot Act can be rescinded.

I wonder if Guantanamo "secret" prison will be closed.

I wonder if Blackwater and other groups like this will be disbanded/dissolved.

I wonder if surveillance on civilians will stop.

I wonder when I will be able to bring liquids onto a plane, and not have to take my shoes and belt off.

I wonder if the sun will shine tomorrow.

Stop wondering and do something productive like use a engine search to see the other side of issues.

You automatically assume that Spiritalight hasn't made an individual judgement on where he/she stands on those issues?

If you can't tell her position on most those issues and that there's clearly no hint of seeing the other side then I'm sure how it could be made more plain for you.

Yes, goes hand in hand with reading what posters write and proofreading. Anyone can post uniformed musings but some of us can't turn off our brains long enough to let it slide.

Here's my "wonder". I always wonder why some posters have to post some form of agreement with other posters' thoughts especially when they don't add anything new. This isn't just this on this thread but on the other issues.

Actually - what is says is that you think its fine and dandy to assume a person's ignorance (and label them as such) on the basis of a single, vague forum post.

In other words - you could simply ask for clarification before you start pointing fingers and namecalling.

Sorry, to tell that and that your teachers failed to teach you that if the nothing in the universe is truly knowable then education is a waste because, for example, the laws of physics would change daily. That's been basic tenet of Western thought for centuries but then again it's probably news to most on this forum so you aren't alone.

I'm just curious if the BHO supporters think it is possible for someone to be a non-BHO supporter and NOT be an idiot, moron, Republican, or whatever. I wonder if they can accept that reasonable, logical and rational people may just possibly simply disagree with them, for reasonable, logical and rational reasons that are a legitimate, albeit alternative or different world view.

It's only a few who act in a certain way to sully the image of a conservative. Most know who those few are. Most are rational individuals, who, I believe have the same thoughts about BHO supporters, that they just have a different opinion of how things should be run.

Indeed. I am an Obama supporter and many of my dear friends are Republicans who voted for McCain. We have different views when it comes to certain political issues, but we don't act like blithering idiots when discussing them. I also have friends who are third-party and the same goes.

It's when the anonymity of the internet combines with politics that some FEW people show their idiocy. That goes for here and for other boards I've seen. There is a great deal of "pot, meet kettle" on every point of the political spectrum.
