The Republican Party has nothing left but anger.

Their policies are failures, their ideology is a bust.

All they have left is anger.

And Joe the Plumber may not be an actual plumber (he isn't) and he may not even make enough money to pay higher taxes in the proposed Obama plan (he doesn't), but gosh darnit he is angry.

Is it reasonable to wonder why a major news outlet gives airtime (and a fairly length interview) to a guy who pulls his opinions out of his a$$?

Unfortunately true. All of it. HAL 9000 hopes all out Republican friends can come to terms with their ire. Those that feel that way, of course. I am sure after Obama doesn't turn out to be half as bad as the fanatics claim he will be, they'll find something else to whine about.

Comedy Central is more of a news outlet than Faux News is.

They gave airtime to his rather unfounded and hysterical accusations of Marxism/communism/socialism/unamericanism and allowed him to plug his website.

Perhaps for their next act they could get Joe's bar buddies on the horn....

McCain F'ed himself for bringing this idiotic concept into his campaign. I believe he lost ground with this brainless idea of locking arms with Joe nobody, who wasn't even a plumber.
