I received a I-797C Transfer Notice on 8/25/08 stating that they have transferred my case from Vermont Service Center to California Service Center.

A little while later, on 9/15/08, they sent another I-797E Request for Evidence.

Where should I send the evidence to? The VSC or CSC.

My lawyer sent the evidence to VSC. On USCIS website, it says to send it to the service center that made the request which would be CSC. I'm confused.

I have already received the notice that my petition was denied due to them not receiving the evidence even though I have sent it within the allotted time. Does anyone know what needs to be sent to reopen the case due to error on their part? I assume I have to go through the CSC since they sent me the notice of decision.
