congrats to those who got approved and have their interview dates. i wonder when i will get my interview letter. my local office is sacramento and it's a busy office so it will probably take 6 mos. anyways i'm finally working and it's a good thing because it takes my mind off from this AOS process.

Hello! I know how you feel, the wait is horrible...Well we filed late november and got transferred to california, and maybe we wont get an interview however some people who filed in november already have their interview date...so i do not know what is worse the wait for the california center to approve the GC or the interview.

How long does it take for USCIS to update and approve the AOS process after the submission of an RFE?

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Im not sure how long it will take to approve the case as I am still waiting, but it took them a week to update the status online that processing had resumed.

I hope that helps.

I hope i get something soon. 88 days and counting with no EAD =(

did you ask for a service request about your EAD application? If it's more than 75 days from the date of filing and you haven't hear naything since then, you better ask for service request.

That's because you had an RFE, which resets the 90 days clock. I had no RFE, it is 89 days today. I have an InfoPass scheduled on the 26th, if nothing happens by then, I'll go for it.

Anyone else with Chicago as DO having delays?

I rang again today and they have now placed a service request on my ead, as that is past the processing dates, the ap still is within processing so they cant put a service reqauest on that yet.

She said that now a service request has been placed on my ead, they have to work on the file by 28th February and she took my email address and phone number. So I will wait and see and let you all know what happens.

How long does it take for USCIS to update and approve the AOS process after the submission of an RFE?

I think it took them about 3 weeks after I sent my RFE back to update it online. But there were a few holidays in between that might have slowed it down.

I hope you see an update on your case soon jhunjhun, who knows, even a welcome letter in the mail!

good Luck!

It is time for us to dance, we got approved for our today's interview.

We arrived in the USCIS office ahead of time, went through all the security check and were waiting for them to call us. Our IO is a young and nice lady. She asked the questions to us by turns, some questions are for me, some questions are for my husband, and the others are for either of us. (make sure who is the person to answer the question by asking the IO)

Questions to my husband: When did your wife arrive in US? What is your wife's birthday? Where are you living now? When and where did you get married?

Questions to me:When is your husband's birthday? Who were your wedding witnesses? What are your parents' name? (This is strange, I think it is a question to my husband, so I ask the IO to make sure) What is your husband's mother's last name? Where are you living now? Are you working right now?

Questions to either of us: Describe how you guys met each other? Do you have any evidence to show that you own something together? Of course, we prepared many evidence to show them, as bank statement, insurance, etc. She asked us to give her all the evidence we bring. So we went through all the materials we bring with her and gave her the copies. She said we organized very well.

At last, she smiled and said to us, you are approved today, within 1 month, you will receive a notice from USCIS for the approval of GC, then after that, you will receive the GC. She also gave us the file # for removing the conditional of GC in 1 year 9 month. That's it.

Good luck to all the November filers for your interview.

Certainly it is Time for the Happy dance!!!!
