thank you :)

I think we will have to go now to a civil surgeon and get his DS 3025 transcribed. Hopefully I can find one who won't charge such an unreasonable amount as they were asking last I checked.

I should also add that my case wasn't updated online before I got this letter, even though both the EAD & AP were.

It is time for us to dance, we got approved for our today's interview.

We arrived in the USCIS office ahead of time, went through all the security check and were waiting for them to call us. Our IO is a young and nice lady. She asked the questions to us by turns, some questions are for me, some questions are for my husband, and the others are for either of us. (make sure who is the person to answer the question by asking the IO)

Questions to my husband: When did your wife arrive in US? What is your wife's birthday? Where are you living now? When and where did you get married?

Questions to me:When is your husband's birthday? Who were your wedding witnesses? What are your parents' name? (This is strange, I think it is a question to my husband, so I ask the IO to make sure) What is your husband's mother's last name? Where are you living now? Are you working right now?

Questions to either of us: Describe how you guys met each other? Do you have any evidence to show that you own something together? Of course, we prepared many evidence to show them, as bank statement, insurance, etc. She asked us to give her all the evidence we bring. So we went through all the materials we bring with her and gave her the copies. She said we organized very well.

At last, she smiled and said to us, you are approved today, within 1 month, you will receive a notice from USCIS for the approval of GC, then after that, you will receive the GC. She also gave us the file # for removing the conditional of GC in 1 year 9 month. That's it.

Good luck to all the November filers for your interview.

Finally, IRS accepted our federal tax return today! Our return was rejected twice due to not matching my SSN and last name on IRS system, but today I filed it electronically and it was accepted! I'm heading to our USCIS local office tomorrow to hand over the copy of our federal tax return a long with an email confirmation from IRS that has been accepted. Hopefully my green card will be approved!!!

Good luck everybody!!!! :)

Benny was self employed in Germany so we'd probably owe a lot filing jointly.

I hope i am as lucky as you. I also got my NOA on Nove 28. 2008. I had my biometrics taken on 12/17/08. I check CRIS every day to see if my status has been updated/touched and it had only been touched the day after my biometrics (12/18/08). Hopefully i get my EAD card in the mail w/o any update from CRIS... every day i check my mail and get disappointed when i dont see my EAD card =(

Which service center did you go through? I am going through the Vermont Service center and i think they are taking extra long. All the other cases from different service centers seem to move very quick. i am on day 85 with no EAD

RD: 11/21/08

ND:11/28/08

Biometrics Notice date: 12/03/08

Biometrics taken: 12/17/08

EAD touched: 12/18/08

You should ask for service request if your EAD has been filed more than 75 days
