Really? I hope thats the case then. The website says 14 weeks to six months... But I hope thats just a cushion. Keep your fingers crossed for me. :)

OMG! I've never seen crazy time like that!! What website does his birth state use??? Ohio uses VitalCheck.

Its just the California state website. I guess its because of it being CA.

Wow! It's hard to believe California's that backed up. The site does say if the processing times aren't acceptable to your needs to contact the county recorder's office. Did you try that?

Yes. They have the same timeline too but they say we may get it by 6-8 weeks. So, still pushing it.... Lets see what happens.

If we don't get it, we do have his passport and military ID to prove citizenship. (He is in the Army!) But you know how USCIS is. Sometimes, if the officer is in a bad mood, they just won't accept anything but the birth certificate. Well, we'll try our best. Thanks for the info though....

Hey Tandb!!! Congratulations! Very happy for you.... Hope you get the GC fast now.

Nice to know that you didn't have a big waiting time either....

By the way, I had a question... When you got your interview appointment letter, there are a list of documents on that, which they ask you to bring.

Did they look at all of that whats on your letter or only what they wanted?

Filed: Other Timeline

Hello, I just found this forum for the November 2008 AOS filers. I sent my husbands AOS packet on Nov 15th, 2008, he had his Biometrics appointment on Jan 27th, 2009, and we are anxiously waiting for his EAD to arrive (we sent it in at the same time). I am very worried because I see everyone else, including those that sent in the AOS paperwork much later than us, have received interview dates, EAD approval, etc. I consistently check on the "case status" for both the EAD and the AOS, and there has never been any update since his Biometrics appointment. Is anyone having a similar problem/delay? I'm not quite sure what to think......

(I am not quite sure how to post.... I assume it will automatically attach my timeline...)
