Do you guys have an idea of what keeps delaying my EAD approval? I haven't received a RFE since then......it's been more than 75 days now......It's quite disappointing to see that USCIS updated their websites and says that the "Processing Dates for the National Benefits Center as of: November 30, 2008" The processing dates shown represent the receipt dates of petitions and applications currently being processed by the USCIS National Benefits Center. If the receipt date shown on your receipt notice is prior to the processing date shown below, you may call USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. We encourage you to check this page periodically before inquiring about your case. The processing dates are updated monthly.

and my EAD case says " We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done" This is extremely ridiculous.....I'm sorry I just want to vent.

I am in the same place, but say there is an explanation in my case, I just had the bio taken.

It is frustrating to see you're stuck, knowing that the interview is not always resulting in on-the-spot approval of the application, and even more, it could take a long time for FBI to complete the name check. That's why getting the EAD is actually important (even more so if you have a one income household). Not funny nor pleasant at all to sit around, frenetically refreshing USCIS's web page or your inbox, waiting for an email that's not coming, thinking what bill to pay first and if you have enough money to buy the strictly necessary things in life.

The current timeline is 3 months for I765, so you are still in the waiting, even though your priority date is before the one posted on the USCIS's site. Perhaps time for an infopass? It is worth more than a service request, even though the 3 months since receipt of application is not up yet.

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

Omg... I just got back from the Social Security office. The clerk was hitting on me! He was comparing our ages, commenting on my name and how it "rolls off the tongue" and then he's like "your mom is Smith, dad is Jones, where does Doe come from?" I'm like..."my husband"... then he shut up. haha

It took an hour and a half but once I got up there it only took a couple minutes and I'll have the card in 2 wks!

I just got 2nd e-mail from CRIS. Card production ordered again. I know many are receiving 2 emails like these... At least case is moving.... :dancing: Hope for more EAD approvals from us.

Yay! Congrats! I remember it was stressing for me too when they didn't resume the case as soon as they got my rfe response. Hope things go smooth for you here onwards.... :)

How is everyone doing?

I got my SSN in the mail last week and now I'm looking for part-time jobs.. not really succesfully. I applied for 4 different places, no respone yet whatsoever. I wonder if anyone even wants a stupid college girl from germany :( My hubby prevented be from applying for a CVS cashier job because he said they treat the workers like ######... but if i don't get any response from the other jobs, I'll do that. Can't be picky I guess, when you're an immigrant..

Anyone else found a job? How are the people with the upcoming interview feeling? I have to say that I wake up at night sometimes because I dream of deportation and things, but yeah.. what can you do.

08/26/08 - arrival on VWP to meet my boyfriends family for a month

09/29/08 - heartbroken, didn't take flight back

10/26/08 - surprising proposal

10/31/08 - halloween wedding :)

11/07/08 - I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 sent via USPS express

11/10/08 - package received

11/19/08 - checks cashed

11/25/08 - NOAs received

12/08/08 - RFE received

12/11/08 - Biometrics

12/12/08 - RFE send back

01/09/09 - EAD/AP approved

03/10/09 - interview (pending approval)

03/20/09 - welcome letter

03/31/09 - green card received

How is everyone doing?

I got my SSN in the mail last week and now I'm looking for part-time jobs.. not really succesfully. I applied for 4 different places, no respone yet whatsoever. I wonder if anyone even wants a stupid college girl from germany :( My hubby prevented be from applying for a CVS cashier job because he said they treat the workers like ######... but if i don't get any response from the other jobs, I'll do that. Can't be picky I guess, when you're an immigrant..

Just keep looking, it always takes time! The way the economy is right now too... it might take a little longer. BUT you can always take a job and if you find something better then quit.

02-24-09......Interview at 12:00 pm in San Diego !! APPROVED!!

02-28-09......Welcome Letter Received & approval for I-130!!

03-09-09.......Green card in the mail!

My rfe was recieved back to them last wednesday, still no touch or change at the website. :angry:

Few mins after sending this, email recieved saying case processing has resumed. :yes:

Yay! Congrats! I remember it was stressing for me too when they didn't resume the case as soon as they got my rfe response. Hope things go smooth for you here onwards.... :)
