Quick question for the experts out there:

I'm helping a friend and her I-130 has been approved. We are about the send in the I-485 along with the I765. She came here with a B1/B2 Visa and married a US Citizen. Question, what box on the I-485 should she check? is it box A or box H? I'm confused...HELP!!!

Got my husband's AP in the mail today.

Have a few questions about it now...If we want to travel, I assume we bring both of the pieces of paper with us but do we need to bring anything else as far as NOAs or any other AOS related correspondence from the government?

And also, which line would he stand in when we get back to the US? Would he come with me or go to the other line?

Taking a copy of the NOA's wouldn't hurt just to be safe...I believe he can go with you (Citizens & Perm Residents Line), but I am sure that they will send him to secondary processing after that.

Got my husband's AP in the mail today.

Have a few questions about it now...If we want to travel, I assume we bring both of the pieces of paper with us but do we need to bring anything else as far as NOAs or any other AOS related correspondence from the government?

And also, which line would he stand in when we get back to the US? Would he come with me or go to the other line?

and i look at yours .. and it says that is approved on the 21st... and you got it today..

weird huh

Yeah I thought that was pretty fast too, I didn't even expect it & thought it was just going to be like an NOA or a letter or something confirming it was approved

Hi i think it depends on where you live. The EAD cards came from east coast so if you live in California you might get it in a week or two. I live in Cali and i got mine almost 2 weeks after the approval.

Hi i think it depends on where you live. The EAD cards came from east coast so if you live in California you might get it in a week or two. I live in Cali and i got mine almost 2 weeks after the approval.

well... after a loooooong bitching about not getting my ead and my ap... I finally got em today in the mail!!!!! yay

... and then... well didnt waiste anytime and ran to the closest ss office.. which is like 10 min away...

I just grabbed my passport.. and my brand new card...

waited there for aprox 40 min... when they called my number... i was so exited...

then... the lady asked for my birth certificate which i forgot to bring with me...

I was like....... are you serious??.. i explained that my passport has exactly the same info that is on the BC... anyways..

I just got back home.. happy... but mad at myself for not bringing the bc... oh well..

ill be there 2morrow morning :thumbs:
