Dec. 09, 2008- mailed AOS packet

Dec. 10, 2008- received by V. Bustamante

Dec. 16, 2008- money order payment was cashed

Dec. 22, 2008- received NOAs for I-131; I-485; and I-765 in the mail (yay!)

Feb. 21, 2009- received I-512L (Advance Parole document)

Feb. 24, 2009- biometrics done

Mar. 05, 2009- EAD received

Mar. 05, 2009- case transferred to CSC

Mar. 10, 2009- applied for SSN

Mar. 21, 2009- SSN card received

Apr. 10, 2009- Welcome Notice Received dated 04/06/09

Apr. 13, 2009- Greencard received

I tried to do a walk in for biometrics, very polity asked if they could take me as a walk in, because I have a previous commitment for the date/time of the appointment, commitment that I cannot reschedule. I was told there is nothing they can do, they cannot take me, if I cannot be there at the appointment date& time, just walk in at any time AFTER (so told me a lady there) or on Wednesdays or Saturdays during business hours (so told me a gentleman there).

Mind you, at 2:30PM there was NOBODY in the center. Yet they did not take me. Talking about the busy schedules at application support centers, right? :angry:

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

I received another email that the card production has been ordered for the EAD.

After the biometric appointment today, just checked my status online and my I-485 is touched on 1/23/09.

Nothing for the I-765, I guess I won't get my EAD anytime soon.

Maybe you should make an infopass to ask about the I765 biometrics? My bio appointment was issued 3 days after the infopass, so I guess it was helpful. My bio appt lists both I485 and I765. I don't know why one would need a separate bio appt for either I485 or I765, you are the same, right?

The same situation here. Does anyone know what it means? The 2 emails are the same content, the only difference is the date, the first mail is on Jan.17, and the second mail is on Jan.23.

That happened to me, I received 3 emails from Cris. The day after the 3rd email, I received my EAD card in the mail.

That would only basically mean that they send you a notice everytime they work on your EAD. First they order the card production, second they send you a notice that you will receive the EAD in the mail and the third email is sent after they snail-mailed the EAD.

Hi marryme.I called uscis yesterday re bio appointment for I-765. the lady said that I should inform whoever will get my biometrics that I have another application aside from I-485.just bring noa.and they will also do it for my i-765. I hope its true.i'll just do it though.

Our i-485 was touched yesterday & says the same thing as before...your case was transferred & is now pending at the uscis office it was transferred to. Does that mean they might be working on it? Or did everybody else receive a touch on the i485 when the EAD & AP's were approved & that's just part of the standard routine?

My husband's I-485 was last touched after his biometrics. His EAD & AP were just approved and show touches from that, but the I-485 hasn't changed.

The I-485 was touched on Friday, 1/23/09. The message did not change, but it has been touched. As we know it could mean many things. I am hoping they are reviewing and will be sending a Green Card soon, but it seems a little too soon for that according to the processing times. We shall see.

FYI...The I-485 was transferred to California 12/11/08.

I hope to see more approvals today!!!!
