Mmm well maybe there are other HUNDREDS of applications being 'touched' today, or approved today, but the persons are SOO happy they have forgotten to post! hehe

I'm one of the hundreds that was "touched" today. They touched my EAD and AP, I'm wondering what that touch was for because they already approved those yesterday. I hope they are not retracting the approval. Maybe they just looked for my address, because they are mailing my EAD and AP. :)

Congratulations to all the poeple who got their approval. I am very worried about my case, see my timeline below (drl). Seems many people did their BIO much later than me and have good news already. My case hasn't been touched since my BIO. Do I need to call the USCIS to check on the status? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for all your help.

my applications have not been touched since 12/10/08...

AP AND I-130 since 12/01/08...

so.. i dont know whats going on... the only thing that makes me happy is that at least i have my interview next month...

hope we get good news soon tho...

Monday will be 30 days since Benny's cases have been touched so I'll be calling them Tuesday during my lunch break to see what to do. His visa expires on the 6th....

They basically said that the I-94 & Visa expiration dates don't matter since we applied before the 90 days were up....I've seen others say the same thing but it just doesn't sound right to me. The cases still haven't been touched.

I called our congressman's office and the lady that handles immigration contact issues said to email her the details. I've drafted an email already.

Thanks for the replys! I did call USCIS over Christmas break and all the operator did was tell me that they rec. my case.

That's about all the customer service line can tell you...their existence seems to be useless....

when i called the first person said ` there seems to be a problem indeed, i cant see it either`, then they transferred me to a second person, who could see the status of my case(s) and said they were pending and in MO...

i received another email as well. i believe some VJ members received 2nd email also after the approval of their EAD. let's not worry about it. at least we know that we are approved and that we will soon get hold of our EAD card.

hey..dont worry..none of my stuff had been touched AT ALL...just on the 11th of november..a week before my biometrics (nov. 18th)..and the next touch i got was the approval for my EAD...so hang on..one of these days youll just receive the surprising email..that happened to me.! first youll get a production ordered email...then you will get another one..then finally you will receive the approval notice sent email..and you should be getting your EAD card that same day..or the next. the whole process usually takes 10 days after the first email...!

my applications have not been touched since 12/10/08...

I have the same NOA receipt date and biometrics date and last touch date as you, but no interview scheduled as yet. I'm less worried about my permanent resident status than the fact that I can't even look for work without some idea of when to hope to receive my EAD. I know I'm still well within the 90 days but I see from the forums that some people have waited over six months to receive their EAD and frankly that worries me a great deal.
