Hi everyone! My AP and EAD are approved today! Yehey! I can visit my brother in Canada once I get my AP card! Yeebaa!!!

AOS is not touched, but I'm still happy!

I hope everybody will get good news soon also...

Congrats for your EAD & AP approval...hope we will get something from USCIS soon. Looking at your time line it seems that USCIS received your application on Nov 17, 2008 since 16 of Nov is Sunday. Hehehee...hope there's a bunch of EAD and AP approval for today!!!! good luck everybody!!!

I had an Associate Degree in Chemistry back in Canada. I just graduated last May 2008. I like working on analytical or environmental testing laboratory as :

chemical technician/technologist

laboratory analysts

laboratory technologists

research technical assistants

sales managers

Career Opportunities

Along with having an educational foundation for continuing education, graduates may find employment in chemical analysis, research, agriculture and food research, chemical production, technical sales, occupational health hygiene, environmental protection, commercial laboratories, industrial laboratories, petroleum industry, pulp and paper industry, and mining industry.

Hope I can find a job in my field........

well im reaching 67 days since i filed.. and my account still the same.. they haven't updated anything...

I-485 AND I-756 haven't been touched since 12/10/08...

for some reason i think since my interview is coming so soon.. im not gonna get ead... hope not!

as for me, i got a very nice surprise today: an interview letter for March 6th!! i`m still in shock. i thought Boston was gonna take forever and a day. i`m so happy, kinda gets my worries out of the way for our out-of-the-country May trip that`s allready booked.

i still cant track my case online, but honoustly, i couldtn care less.

wishing all November filers lots of approvals!!

The best place is the U of A of course, but they are on a hiring freeze. There is a guy up north (Oro Valley) I will email you his contact if you want, he owns a lab right by Ventana Medical Systems (which you should check into as well). http://www.integratedbiomolecule.com/ Check it out, if its what you imagine, let me know. He does a lot of start up companies, good guy to know.

Many little companies around that need people to test before ground breaking on buildings, which right now is probably not the best place to get into.

I will keep my ears open for you. There is a huge bioscience presense here now. With Ventana Medical Systems (Who was just bought by Roche) they just announced they are expanding and hiring 300+ people.

Getting worried... people with biometrics completed a month after I did are already getting interview notices and EADs... Mine have not even been "touched" yet. I hope my file did not fall behind a cabinet in someone's office....

You don't have to check your USCIS account every so often...that will make you more anxious. I just received an email from Cris that's how I knew that my AP and EAD were approved. Loosen up a bit, keep you self busy and keep away from the computer hehehe

That was my problem also, I kept looking at USCIS webpage, but because there was no response before, I stopped doing it. Don't worry, with the timelines of the Nov filers, I guess the processing of our papers are right on track. It will come...just wait for Cris's email.

I've been looking at the OCT. chart for EAD/AP/AOS and it seems that people are generally approved for their EAD 4-6 weeks after their biometrics appointment. Even if their case was received earlier than someone elses. I've still got a few weeks to go seeing as how my biometrics was just a week ago. Of course that doesn't stop me from frequently checking the USCIS website...
