I scheduled an infopass for this coming Monday. I heard of people getting their bio appointment on the spot. Maybe this will work.

Let us know how your infopass went.

If you get your biometrics done I will schedule for an infopass ASAP.

this morning at 7 AM i had my driving test. it was very easy, just a round around the block. I took some classes last week and scheduled the road test through the driving school (we dont have a car). The examinator was extremely nice. it was so easy. they actually said: no need to turn all your mirrors, your not going to be in the car that long!!!

but i`m still happy i passed!! :dance: so on Tuesday i have to go back to the RMV, and then they`ll mail me my Mass license (my very first DL ever).

i come back home and turn the computer on, decided to check the uscis website again, even though i was sure still nothing was going to be found. i checked last yesterday evening.

and then all of a sudden not the page i got so used to showed up... it took me a second to realize: my EAD is approved!!!! And my AP as well!!

i`m so happy, i`m jumping into the air!! :dance::dance:

congratulations, marash :) im really happy for you!

can i ask how long you had to study until you could take your test? was it hard? i never had a driver's license, not even in germany :unsure: so i was thinking of getting one here soon.

i'm almost scared to post this.. i don't want to upset people again or make them angy.. but my EAD was approved today too.

it's like.. too good to be true. i expect something really bad to happen in the last minute :(

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

i studied the manual for Massachusetts. it`s 170 pages or so. (you can find it online)

But there`s not all that much information on a page. some parts are quiet boring, especially when they start going into the different penalties for different ages and stuff.

It isnt difficult material though, you just got to get through it.

The written test was 20 questions, of wich you have to have 14 correct. pretty easy stuff. and you get lots of time.

In NY they`ll probably even have it in German :)

Here in Arizona, the written test was 30 questions of which you have to have 24 correct.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

I got some good news finally! Just got my Biometric appointment today for Jan 23. They sent it on Jan 7 a day after I called USCIS for a service request.

That's very good news! Tomorrow I'll print all my forms and get ready for the infopass on monday.
