I just received my biometrics appointment letter yesterday!! :dance: At last, so happy about that. I was so worried because it'll be 60days next week after they received my package. I don't know what's taking my case so long, but I'm happy about the development. My appointment will be on the 29th. Funny thing is I called the USCIS yesterday morning, and made a follow up about my case, and by noon, I got my bio letter... you think I should call back and inform them that I already received the letter?

I'm thinking of going to the local office and do my biometrics earlier though. Anyone who tried this without a problem?

I called USCIS @ 800-375-5283 and listened to a very long menu <_<

Finally got the option to press *1 for a live person.

They didn't have anything new for me only the same status as the online one.

I informed the USCIS gentleman who spoke like a robot :P of my issue, that I didn't receive my BIOMETRIC Appointment letter yet and he took my information and gave me a reference number and told me they will contact me within 45 days :wacko:

anyways just wanted to share my experience.

I scheduled an infopass for this coming Monday. I heard of people getting their bio appointment on the spot. Maybe this will work.

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

It'll be at Raleigh-Durham. I see you just had yours there too, how was it? We have no idea where exactly it is, so we'll just rely on GPS. How early you were at the office? we'll tour around the city right after the appointment too, I'm excited! :D

11-12-2008 Sent AOS, EAD, AP via USPS

11-13-2008 USCIS received the papers @ 3pm!

11-20-2008 3 NOAs

11-24-2008 check cashed

01-05-2009 Recieved Biometrics Letter on mail

01-12-2009 AP approved! / EAD touched

01-29-2009 Biometrics Done

01-30-2009 AOS Touched

03-09-2009 EAD Card Production ordered

04-07-2009 Interview

06-23-2009 Re-scheduled interview.. approved!

It'll be at Raleigh-Durham. I see you just had yours there too, how was it? We have no idea where exactly it is, so we'll just rely on GPS. How early you were at the office? we'll tour around the city right after the appointment too, I'm excited! :D

It was awesome. In and out in 10 mins and they are very friendly there. I was there like 5 minutes before appointment time. But I would like to soft-warn you about finding the place. (Ha ha! I'm starting to use USCIS language everywhere.... like soft touch and hard touch... Maybe I should apply for a job there.) We couldn't find it on our GPS, so you may want to check whether yours does find that Roycroft Rd before hand. We actually started out early in the morning and when we entered the address in the GPS and it couldn't detect it, I came back home and printed directions out on google maps. And even then it was a little confusing. Once you get to a street close by called Central Park, there'll be a big inn there, the USCIS office will be in front of that.

It may be my GPS issue, but doesn't hurt to check in advance I guess. :)

01/29/2011 - Received Biometrics appointment notice dated 1/20/2011

02/03/2011 - Biometrics Appointment (Great sunny day. In and out in 10 minutes! Very pleasant folks.)

03/10/2011 - Status online changed to Approved & USCIS mailed approval notice and card

03/14/2011 - Received 10yr green card in mail (Praise the Lord!)
