WELLLLLLLLL I KNOW THAT IS HARD... YES IT IS HARD... BUT GETTING A TOURIST VISA IS NOT A WALK ON THE PARK EITHER...

SINCE I DIDNT PLAN ON STAYING HERE AND MARRY MY WIFE.. ITS NOT MY FAULT THAT MY INTERVIEW IS UNEXPECTEDLY SOON...

MY POINT IS... INSTEAD OF HATING.. JUST WISH THE REST LUCK... LIKE THEY SAY ... WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND.....

AND I THINK IS HARD TO GET A K-1 VISA JUST BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT SOME OF THE APPLICANTS USE THAT VISA AS FRAUD..

tourist visa can be used for fraud also but anyway it's useless to argue about this. good luck and God bless everyone. peace

your the one that made that senseless comment... if i were you.. id never say something like that..

i was just saying that it's hard to get a K visa and then you started mentioning about the fraud and you even posted that article. i am not going to argue with you. i have read how you argued with another Filipina before and apparently you don't like us. let me just clarify i don't hate those who got interview letters. yes i got upset a bit but it doesn't mean that i hate them or what. besides, i do know that it's not their fault that they got interview appointments this early. aldo, please don't reply this post again because i really don't want to argue with you or anybody here in VJ.

i dont know why you "K" filers are upset about the interview date notices...

dont you guys know that you guys will most likely get your green card approved WITHOUT an interview???

most of your cases get transferred to the CSC which if it does..your green cards will SOMETIMES automatically...get approved without the interview.

you guys have it easy...us b-1/b-2 and other status filers still have to go through the hassle of having our marriage invaded by questions....by officers who may have had a good or bad day..and base our futures on that...

so dont be sore "filers"...and be happy for the people that do have their interview notices...

im not trying to offend or argue with anyone..but its better to be informed...then just to talk out of our a::::s

so ill put an end to that....and good luck to ALL you filers...may EVERYTHING come at its TIME....

I'm not a K filler. The delay on my file is NOT making me angry on the people posting here - like they have anything to do with how USCIS moves around files (and I am really happy for them all and for their families, husbands, wives and babies) .. but it really makes me angry on the case handler and USCIS that did not send the biometrics appointment yet, 40 days after case receipt at MSC.

This, I think, is good enough reason for me to be concerned and frenetically reload the case status page on the USCIS webpage, check the mailbox and think about reasons and explanations, maybe something missing in my file (though by this time I should have received an RFE, right?), or maybe the neighbor's mailbox overflowing with papers and maybe my notice is inside it (nobody lives in that apartment so I dream of me using a screw driver to see if my envelope is not stuck in that mailbox).

I bet many of those posting here do check their mailboxes too waiting for the eagle stamped on a corner...the thing is, they do get the envelopes:))

PS: this Bustamante buy/gal at the Chicago lockbox signed for receipt of my file too:))

Just a thought - make sure your name is on the inside of your mail box for your mail carrier to see if you may have put (or USCIS) the wrong address...

I am also not concerned about the time line. If you look at October's thread things will be happening for us this month hopefully! Good luck everyone. We should all be happy we are with our loved ones.

I just received my biometrics appointment letter yesterday!! At last, so happy about that. I was so worried because it'll be 60days next week after they received my package. I don't know what's taking my case so long, but I'm happy about the development. My appointment will be on the 29th. Funny thing is I called the USCIS yesterday morning, and made a follow up about my case, and by noon, I got my bio letter... you think I should call back and inform them that I already received the letter?

I'm thinking of going to the local office and do my biometrics earlier though. Anyone who tried this without a problem?

Hello November filers, when is the best time to start looking for jobs? There is one job position that I want to apply, this job was posted yesterday. I was wondering if it's ok to fax my resume to them this time. I'm still waiting for my EAD approval but my interview date is on Feb 11, 2009. I'm bored staying at home doing nothing..others will agree? I believe that this position will fit to my field. I always praying that job opportunity will come in the right time for me. It's really hard to get a job like this in Tucson Arizona unlike in the other states. I would like to give a shot if I'm qualified. Does it take a month after the interview to do the background checks? if the start date is not until next month, I'll probably get my EAD approval soon.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)
