I am starting to get worried here :( still no biometric appointment letter . hopefully it will come this week.

03-03-2011 - I-751 Application sent with K2 dependent

03-08-2011 - checks were cashed

03-15-2011 - NOA received dated 03/04/2011

04-01-2011 - Biometrics Appointment

04-19-2011 - Card production was ordered

04-21-2011 - Approval Notice was sent

04-22-2011 - Approval notice received

04-23-2011 - 10 yrs Green card on hand

OMG...I CANT SEEM TO GET A LIVE PERSON ON THE PHONE... :help:

THERE ARE NO OPTIONS ON THAT 1800-NUMBER TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE!

I just talked to a USCIS representative late this afternoon regarding my case that's not available online. I was told by her that she will inform whoever does the updates in USCIS to put my case online so that I can see them, but still there's no progress. I asked her if there's a RFE on its way down here and she told me that everything seems alright (hope so, ). Since, I can't see my case online, I'm going to bother them by calling everyday to make sure that I'm really abreast about my case. May be this is the only way that I can tract my application. What do you think, huh?

I think you should relax a little... :thumbs:

even if you do get an RFE you still would have to send whatever they ask for...

about calling them daily i dont know if you are gonna aggravating them by doing so...

just relax......... go with the flow... this is going to end someday.. so just chill

I ended up selecting the option for needing a form mailed. I told the rep that I wasn't getting any other option to speak to someone.

*hugs everyone* Relax. :) This is a long, drawn out process...but it really does work out in the end. Calling them daily won't help your case, it won't speed them up...they have tens of thousands of applications to work on, they'll get to yours, I promise...and they are doing the best they can. This step is the easy one.

Can you just show up there and try to do a walk in? So far my Bio is the latest (Jan 5th) and I want to move it up close to everyone elses appts!

Can you just show up there and try to do a walk in? So far my Bio is the latest (Jan 5th) and I want to move it up close to everyone elses appts!

I would definitely say that you should try a walk-in..Chris gave it a try this morning and was in and out in about 15 minutes! I waited around in the off-chance that he'd come back out before I had to leave to walk to work, and there he was! He said they don't really care what the date on your letter is, as long as come with a letter in tow. Good luck, candy (and to anyone else pondering a walk-in)!

Sniffety Sniff sniff... I have an RFE on its way for my I-485. Wonder what it could be after I checked checked and rechecked all the requirements before I sent the package. ANyways, will see what it is when it gets here....

You guys are right, just go with the flow. Its a long process and we'll get to the end when we do. So chill out everybody and enjoy your Christmas season!
