AOS FILERS: NOVEMBER 2008

I Sent my papers (i-485,i765, I- 131) on 3 NOV, uscis got them on 5 Nov, check cashed on 13 nov.

I overnight my wife's I-485 petition last Thursday to 131 SOUTH DEARBORN, CHICAGO address. The packet hasn't been picked up from post office. I am not sure if i made a mistake to sent my packet in this address. It was mentioned in the instructions that if you are sending in express then use this address instead. Please assist.

I used that address as well to send my AOS package overnight to Chicago. I sent mine on 13 of Nov @ 3:32 pm and it was delivered @ 9:44 am to Chicago L Box.

Hey Guys.

I'm sort of straddling the October/November filing date so I though I would treat myself and attempt to actively participate in both threads. Looks as though everyone is doing well. I'm a little annoyed as I can't access my case numbers online yet. I understand that quite a few people have this problem though so oh well, would be nice to see if we had been transfered to CSC but it will be a surprise when I finally try the USCIS website one day and actually get some info out of them.

How is everyone finding being here and married? I must be honest I'm not adjusting as well as I had hoped but in reality I haven't been here 'that long.' I'm sure once the EAD comes through and I can get out of the apartment and into a job, where I'm making friends and getting a little more human interaction things will be better.

its terrible..

as far as your concern about accessing your case online.. i have no idea... it must be an error.. or it will take more time till your case appears online

we sent the package november 7th, and it was received on the 9th. nothing heared since.

my visiting family left yesterday, after getting delayed for a day, so now the real waiting starts...

We will FINALLY be sending our AoS paperwork off this week. How do you check your status online? Do you use the same password as you did while waiting for

the 1-129f to be approved? Or do you have to wait for your AoS to be received and they send a Noa with a case# on it?

Gah I can't wait for all of this to be over. I just want to live life without worry about this stuff.
