Hello all, its nice to have so many in the same boat as us, feels great to be able to discuss these things...

Mailed mine on the 21st of November and it was delivered and signed for on the 25th of November.

No checks cashed yet and no NOAs received either. But hopefully will be soon, may be delayed due to the Thanksgiving holidays....

MY TIMELINE

11/21/2008 - I-130, I-864, I-485, I-765, I-131 - Package sent.

11/25/2008 - Delivered to Chicago Lockbox.

12/05/2008 - Checks Cashed and NOA1 date (DAY 1)

12/12/2008 - NOA1 & Biometrics received dated 12/5 (DAY 8)

12/22/2008 - Received RFE letter by USPS (DAY 18)

12/23/2008 - Mailed back RFE requirements (DAY 19)

12/31/2008 - Case processing resumed for I-485 (DAY 27)

01/02/2009 - Biometrics Appointment (DAY 29)

01/30/2009 - EAD Card production ordered (on hubbz's birthday!! What a nice present from USCIS!) (DAY 57)

02/02/2009 - Got email for AP approved as of 1/30. (DAY 60)

02/09/2009 - Received EAD and AP in mail. (DAY 67)

03/24/2009 - Interview at 1pm - APPROVED! (Thank God! DAY 115)

03/27/2009 - Received Welcome Letter and NOA2 for I-485 and I-130. (Day 118)

04/02/2009 - Received Green Card. (Day 124)

12/24/2010 - Time to file for removal of conditions - I-751

01/03/2011 - Mailed I-751 package to VSC

01/04/2011 - I-751 received and signed for at USCIS

01/07/2011 - Check cashed by USCIS

01/12/2011 - Received NOA dated 01/05/2011

01/29/2011 - Received Biometrics appointment notice dated 1/20/2011

02/03/2011 - Biometrics Appointment (Great sunny day. In and out in 10 minutes! Very pleasant folks.)

03/10/2011 - Status online changed to Approved & USCIS mailed approval notice and card

03/14/2011 - Received 10yr green card in mail (Praise the Lord!)

I know I shouldn't expect it yet...but I keep checking my bank account every few hours to see if my check has cleared! :)

Just out of curiosity, since I see a few other K1s on the list...how did you work your wedding? We had a tiny ceremony and will be having a big ceremony in May.

You are not alone, it seems I check the online status every few hours and the mail always get checked 2 a day, in case the mail man comes early and not to mention email is refreshed and checked very often for any CRIS updates :P

I-129F -sent on 20 March 2008

I got my visa on 28 Aug 2008

Arrival to US on 30 Aug 2008

I got my SSN on 26 Sept 2008

We got married on 1 oct 2008

I got my ID card on 15 oct 2008

AOS

3 NOV 2008- I-485,I-131,I-765 sent to Chicago

13 NOV 2008- check was cashed

18 NOV -I got 3 NoA for my papers dated 13 Nov 2008

24 NOV- biometrics NOA

4 DEC- biometrics appointment

13 DEC- RFE (tax papers)

26 DEC, 31 DEC, 8 JAN- biometrics had to be retaken :(

9 JAN - Case processing has resumed

4March- AOS Interview NOA

7 APR- green card interview -approved

I-751- conditions removal Vermont SC

19 Jan -sent the package

21 Jan- the package was received by USCIS (NOA dated 1/25)

28 Jan- check was cashed

24 Feb- Fingerprints Appointment

6 July - Approval notice

9 July - Green card received

At least you know your check is cashed.. it seems that the NOA's are processed before the checks are cashed.. so maybe you will get all you NOA's and BIO appointment at one shot. Good Luck.

We flew to Las Vegas with my brothers & future sister in law. My mom had to stay home to care for our dad, but was able to watch it via the chapel's live feed so she didn't feel too left out. I figured if we were going to do it, we might as well do something fun

We're going to be having our bigger church wedding on our 1 yr anniversary next October :)
