Just wanted to throw my husband's progress up there, too..hope everyone is hanging in there and had a great Thanksgiving.

For the people who are adjusting from K-1 status...what did you include medical-wise?

i sent the I-693 form. i didnt have an 3025 or what`s it called....

I had my medical in May, so i think I`m good concerning the TB - i think at least i dont really know

i got a vaccination list here, I didnt redo the whole medical.

they made me get an other HPV-vaccine, what`s really expensive, and totally useless. now, every time I see a commercial on tv for Gardasil I start swearing at the tv.

i`m still frustrated that they made me get 2...

I also forgot to mention that my husband's medical was done on June 30th 2008, which is why we only put in a copy of the DS3025.

What I am not 100% clear on is whether the US Embassies in other countries and the doctors they appoint in those countries to do the medical exams are being required to go by the new TB testing rules. If they are, the doctors my husband went to did not give him the skin test.

I'm curious about the same thing! My husband had his medical on 8/8 and they did NOT do a skin test for him. They need to get these new requirements across the board...this is crazy!

We just put a copy of his immunization records. The only thing he got back from the medical was some x-rays.

From what I understand is that medicals done after June 1 should have had a tb skin test, if your medical was before that date it is not required.

yeah, that's basically my point - my husband's was done at Knightsbridge Doctors in London on June 30th and they did not give him the skin test, only the xray.

i've seen different things saying May & August for the skin test being mandatory, but either way, if it was May/June then they should have given him the skin test. That's why I only sent the DS3025 and why we opted to not go to a civil surgeon unless we get an RFE.

I think if you feel that you don't have to do it and have enough evidence as far as the medical goes I think you will be ok. The worse they can do is give you an RFE if its not enough for them. Good Luck to everyone.

LOL - I also swear at the tv when that ad comes on - it make me so mad that I "had" to get the gardasil.... Grrrrrr - even after I had a long debate with the doctor in Australia about it not being necessary.........

I just sent in my supplement form from the medical in Australia.... fingers crossed!
