I dropped off all completed forms for to my attorney october 17th and she said it was good and would mail it out. She moved offices and didnt get around to mailing it out until NOVEMBER 18th. Sickening.

The wait is killing me...

Yes we have been. I have had my mind set on reporting her to the BAR but I am sure I will let it pass. It just annoys me that she knows how broke we are and I could have been working 1 month sooner then I will be now. Such a poor mistake that no attorney should ever make.

Our package was received on the 24th!

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one checking the mail, etc a lot! I think I log into our bank account a few times a day to see if that cheque was cashed!!

Sorry to hear about the lawyers just taking their time and not knowing the urgency of this matter for us.

It took me 2 months to put all my paper work together and about 4 months to save up for the filing fee paying for the lawyer to just fill out the paper work and mail them is too costly for me. VJ gave me the confidence to do it all by myself.

Just got some updates today, my money order is sent in for cashing on 11/28

Yes !!!! I received 5 NOA's today dated for Nov. 25th 2008. My Bio appointment will be on Dec. 18th 2008 at 11:00 am. I'm happy now but I don't want to feel more complacent this time because there's a lot of things that I still need to incur for this entire process. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I thought my package was delivered and touched on 14th of Nov but I was wrong....yes the USPS express mail delivered my package on 14th of Nov @ 9:44 am but was not received by a person not until Nov 17. Anyways, good luck!!! When is your Bio appt?

So, I just called USCIS to see why I am not able to check my status online and the lady was not so nice!!

She told me that my I-765 (Application to work) should be approved in February. I asked her about my other stuff and she said that they have everything and that is why I received the NOA's. (I knoww thattt already!) I asked why I'm not able to check my status online and she said that no one should be allowed to search their status online. She said the only way I will know if I get an RFE or if my case is transferred is when I get a letter in the mail from them. That was all... not other information for me.

Did anyone else call USCIS with the same problem and get a different answer from them???????

I think they're just unpredictable...everyone seems to get difference answers for what they're asking. They say all over that you should be able to track your progress on-line, plus, we know she's wrong because most people can do it. I would wait until tomorrow and call again...hope you get someone else.

I think sometimes we can check our status online after biometrics...

I dunno ... thats me... somebody told me that after the biometrics you would be able to check ur online status

I received 2 NOA for AOS and EAD today dated 11/26. I didn't get an NOA for AP, I wonder if it will come when my Bio appointment letter comes.
