<_< Like I said...I thought someone might be there today, but highly doubtful anyone is going to be there before 9AM on a Saturday.

I hope they are able to re-deliver on Monday with no problems. If I get that envelope back I am going to be pretty angry

I am glad it all went well with his TB test, cause I'm telling you, 9 months of INX is no fun on liver functions!

USPS doesn't work on Sundays, so they'll not attempt re-delivery tomorrow. For all that I know from USPS's practice, they leave packages or attempt re-delivering the next business day - check on it on Monday. If this doesn't happen on Monday, call the number, but I guess it will. In Chicago, they delivered at a very odd hour, very late at night, but being a federal building (when I sent in the applications back in November), they found a doorman to sign off. Not like you can do something about it now, so just enjoy the weekend. The worst (the interview) is behind you, stay positive!

Congrats Mymee, Southern, and map1map.. everyone who is still waiting just hang on and you will get yours eventually. Good luck everyone.

Thank you marryme! I sure hope too for a short wait for those looking out for the letters!

So Chris and I went to Federal Plaza this morning for an infopass (as the 60 days have gone by and we haven't received word from them)..after waiting on the 3rd floor for about 20 minutes, we talked to a lady who didn't have any information to give us..so we went up to the 8th floor to speak to an immigration officer. We waited about 10 minutes and were called..we talked to the officer and explained our situation. She left for a minute to talk to our interviewer, who apparently was a newbie at the time of our interview and needed his supervisor's approval. They also had a flood in the office, which was slowing things down (wouldn't ya know it). Anyhoo, it seems like our file is stuck somewhere between his recommendation and his supervisor's approval, but at least now he knows we haven't heard back and he can do something about it. The lady at the window said he sounded positive, so now we just have to wait some more. Oh well, at least we know now what the deal is! Good luck to everyone still waiting..

CONGRADS to Chris on getting APPROVED for his green card and I know you guys have been waiting for 2 months after your interview and glad it all got resolved. I think that infopass triggered the approval, and that gives me hope too that I will get my approval for my green card, since it has been 2 months of waiting after the interview and another month, of me getting a RFE and still havent heard anything yet so I hope to hear something and it has been a month since I responded to my RFE I for last month. Enjoy and go and celebrate.:dance:

This (to me) is really abnormal and very strange - them keeping your Canadian IDs. Maybe you should schedule an Infopass and inquire about your IDs? What if you need to travel immediately/emergency to Canada?

I do agree with what you are saying map1map, but the thing is, I did not apply for an AP because I figured I would get the green card fast, but I guess not lol, but the other issue is, I overstayed in the US, which wasnt brought up nor addressed at my interview, so I wasnt able to apply for the AP.
